Well, today marks the 1400th posting on this web site! It took 10 long years to get to this point (12 years if you include the original version of this site). At this rate, I should be posting image #1500 around July 2013.
A little history:
- CrashRyan.com registered in 1999
- In 1999 the first group of photos are posted online (all scanned in from negatives) .. plus a list of my favorite bars
- After almost 2 1/2 years, only 100 photos are posted. Despite the fact that I had a nice Nikon film camera and some pricey lenses, I still took lousy shots!
- 2001 ... list of bars removed
- In November 2002, I buy a Canon G3 digital camera.
- In December 2002 the site is formally redesigned in a blog style
- New image #1 posted in December 2002.
- The first new comment posted from someone named "debar" ... no web site given
- Site redesigned every year since 2003 ... along the way a few new cameras have been purchased.
